We are seeking a compassionate, skilled caregiver to support an individual with ALS and complex medical needs. The role involves assisting with daily routines, personal care, mobility, feeding (including tube feeding if needed), respiratory support (suctioning), and monitoring health and safety. Key Qualities & Requirements: - Experience providing care for individuals with ALS or similar high-acuity medical conditions - Comfortable with personal care, feeding, mobility assistance, and respiratory support - Knowledge of emergency procedures and ability to respond calmly in urgent situations - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Patience, reliability, and a compassionate attitude - Ability to follow individualized care plans - First aid and CPR certification preferred Other Important Details: - This role may involve light household tasks related to caregiving - Flexibility with scheduling is a plus - We value caregivers who are warm, approachable, and committed to making a meaningful impact - This is a rewarding position that allows you to provide hands-on support and build meaningful connections
