I am a 25 year old individual looking for compassionate and reliable care aid assistance due to my situation of being wheelchair-bound. My need calls for someone who can perform a variety of duties that include but are not limited to bathing assistance, toileting assistance, help with dressing and grooming. In addition, the care aid would also be responsible for housekeeping errands such as laundry, cleaning the bathroom, dishwashing, cleaning the house and more advanced tasks like lifts and transfers, patient positioning, providing catheter/colostomy care, and administering bed baths. The preferable work schedule would be part-time, requiring assistance in the mornings and evenings. Exact days will be provided once interview process has been done. It is estimated that the total working hours would be less than 20 hours per week. Although a driver’s license is not a must, having access to and being able to use your own car would make commuting easier as I need you to be punctual. Those who have prior experience or are comfortable working with incontinence (diapers) are preferred. This is a live-out position, thus the ideal candidate would be someone who can accommodate this arrangement. A preferred start date will be chosen after interview.
