Ideal candidate will provide live-in care, structure and support as needed for kind, sensitive and funny young adult woman in mid-20's.
You will provide assistance with daily living skills to encourage her independence and will share a brand new 2 bedroom apartment, with downtown views, in highly desirable Main Street neighborhood, very close to transit.
In return for help, you will receive a generous salary, affordable rent plus a subsidy toward your shared monthly expenses.
You will have large blocks of free time when she is attending an adult program (9am to 4pm) 3 days a week, or working at her part time job, or participating in sports or other recreational activities. Her structured activities take place in the daytime, evenings or weekends. You will need to reside at the apt 7 days a week, but additional part time work in your free time is ok.
Duties include: assist as needed with planning logistics for her various activities and personal care, accompany her on transit; maintain apartment in clean order, household shopping, meal prep, and medication dispensing.
Qualifications: excellent judgement and interpersonal skills, positive attitude, highly organized and responsible. Experience working with someone with a developmental disability preferred, CRC, proof of Covid-19 Vaccine and references required.
