We are looking for a support partner to provide in home support 1-2 days a week for a newly disabled spouse and respite for her partner. In home support includes assistance/support for all transitions between walker/wheelchair, sitting, etc, navigating stairs, support in toileting, preparing lunch, assistance with exercises - basically general care. Looking for someone who can also provide social and mental stimulation as well as motivation. This is early days for us so we are looking for someone who is flexible and can grow with our needs as they evolve.
