I'm looking to hire for a full time position as a caregiver for my father, at his care home, during the day and assistant to me in the hours he is not needing care. I will need someone who can go over to check on him in the care home (he is across the street) and then pick him up at 12:30 to hang out at our home until around 5pm, if he is feeling up to it. He is very easy going and needs help with toileting, walking and motivation to walk every day (he is in a wheelchair and always very sleepy). He loves to have someone look after him and keep him company. In the time he naps, I could really use some help with the house and running errands. We have a housekeeper who come 2x per month to do the cleaning so it’s more about keeping us organized and tidy. Please note…it’s necessary for you to have a drivers lic. We currently have a wonderful caregiver who has been with us since the Fall. She has a new opportunity and will be leaving at the end of the month.
