We are seeking a reliable, friendly caregiver for my 40-year-old brother, who has High Functioning Autism accompanied by Obsessive Compulsive disorder (OCD). He is Intelligent and articulate. He is very kind, sweet, and can slowly do all daily activities independently, but he benefits from reminders, encouragement, and gentle supervision. Schedule & Hours: Initially on Thursday Afternoons from around 2pm to 5pm = 3 hours. Also, upcoming vacation relief May 16th to 20th. Responsibilities: Friendly prompting and reminders for daily morning routines (brushing teeth, washing face, changing clothes, meds) Building rapport and offering encouragement- he may resist certain tasks at first, so a patient, positive, and persuasive approach works best. Compensation: Pay is negotiable, based on your experience . Ideal Candidate: Kind, patient, and understanding of individuals on the Autism spectrum with OCD.
