I am seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal health care worker/senior health care worker who is ready to begin working immediately. I require a full-time, live-in caregiver who can help a loved one navigate their medical conditions and daily needs. The chosen individual must be available throughout the week including Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday during mornings, middle of the day, and evenings. On Fridays, the required schedule is morning and middle of the day. Weekly working hours will be between 30-40 hours. The caregiver responsibilities will be extensive but thereby meaningful, encompassing a comprehensive range of duties. This includes Oxygen Administration, Heavy Patient lifting & transfer, Bathing assistance, Dressing and Grooming aid, Toileting Assistance, Range of Motion Exercise, Walking Assistance, Home supervision, administering Injections, Tube feeding, and Patient positioning. The caregiver will also be tasked with various forms of personal care, including Bed Pan and Catheter/Colostomy care, and simpler household duties, such as Hand Washing Dishes. Experience with Palliative Care will be specifically appreciated as part of this role. The person I am looking for should have experience, or be willing to work with patients suffering from physical or neurological conditions including Congestive Heart Failure, Dialysis, Cancer, Stroke, Diabetes, Osteoporosis, Paralysis, Arthritis, Brain Tumor, and being Ventilator Dependent. Other circumstances to be managed include Bedridden, Incontinence (diapers), Chemotherapy/Radiation Treatment, Hearing Impairment, Hepatitis, Cataract Removal, and Malnutrition. While a driver's license is not required for this role, the family will be able to provide a car for use on the job when necessary.
