I am looking for a care giver to look after my dad, who is a 90 yrs old stroke client. Compensation: depends on working experience, with vacation pay, EI, CPP, and potential wage increase after three months. Payment by cheque or e-transfer. Description: Looking for a caregiver to work at a client’s home. Client only speaks Mandarin but understand body language. Family members able to translate. Positions Available: Full-time and part-time positions available starting August 1st. Morning shift from 07:00-11:00, evening shift from 16:00-22:00. You can choose either the morning or evening shift, or both, and any day of the week to work. Training will be provided. Responsibilities: • Assist with personal care, dressing, grooming, toileting and transfers using the floor lift. The client is able to bear weight and pivot transfer. • Meal prep and light housekeeping duties. • Provide shower assistance once a week with the help of a second person. • Assist the client with activities including exercise, brain games, stretching Requirements: • Previous caregiver experience is preferred. • Legal working permit is required.
