We are looking for Monday-Friday care for my 64 year old father who lives with Parkinson’s disease. Duties include: - encouraging movement/mobility during “off” times - ensuring daily exercises are completed - ensuring medication is taken every 2 hours - running errands and going to appointments - meal prep - housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry - completing short summary reports at the end of shift to identify important information (missed meds, falls, unusual behavior, etc.) A little backstory on my dad: he is a very young 64 year old who likes to laugh and joke around. Up until about 13 years ago, he would do the ride to conquer cancer every year (this is a bike ride from langley to Seattle!). He loves to play the guitar and listen to music. Music and dancing help him during his off periods. He’s an outdoorsman at heart who loves biking, fishing and camping. We are looking for a self starter who is fun, professional, patient. This role is for someone who is comfortable as a companion, care aid, and house keeper. Potential to grow financially in this role.
