We are seeking a kind, patient, and dependable caregiver to support my elderly mother, who is living with dementia. The ideal candidate will have experience and/or education in dementia or memory care, and a genuine passion for helping seniors live with comfort, dignity, and companionship. This is a live-out position in a warm and supportive family home (Hamilton area). You will work alongside a caring household that includes my husband and two adult daughters, as well as two friendly pets (a dog and a cat). Your daily responsibilities will include: Assisting my mother each morning with personal care — bathing, dressing, and grooming Administering her prescribed medications as directed by the family or doctor Providing companionship through conversation, gentle encouragement, and simple, meaningful activities (music, light walks, puzzles) Preparing a light lunch and occasional snacks Performing light housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dishes, and laundry Feeding and monitoring our friendly dog and letting her in and out of the house as needed Helping maintain a calm, safe, and organized environment Communicating regularly with family members about my mother’s comfort, needs, and daily routines Qualifications: Experience and/or education in dementia or Alzheimer’s care (PSW certification, gerontology, or equivalent) Demonstrated patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills Prior senior caregiving experience Comfortable working within a family setting and around pets Must provide a valid Police Check / Vulnerable Sector Screening References required from previous caregiving positions Schedule: Daytime, live-out position (part-time or full-time, to be discussed) We’re looking for someone who will approach this role with warmth, consistency, and respect — someone who truly enjoys helping an elder feel cared for and at ease every day.

Companionship & assistance with daily living for an 80 year old female with dementia including incontinence care, bathing, ensure takes medication, take for walks and join for activities. Meal preparation and laundry for both husband and wife. Accompany husband grocery shopping or go on own. Clean dishes with dishwasher and light housekeeping. Deeper cleaning provided separately. Accompany both to events as needed. Ideally someone with experience caring for someone with dementia.

Full-Time • Live-In

Looking for a dedicated part-time live-in caregiver in the Greater GTA (as well as other locations) for personal care and companionship. Responsibilities include personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and daily living support. Past experience with Alzheimer's or Parkinson's patients beneficial. No driving needed, just a firm dedication to ensure client's comfort. Working hours are 30-40 hours per week, preferably midday, evening, and night shifts. Immediate start, additional tasks include housekeeping, meal planning, errands and maintaining cleanliness. Ideal candidates should be reliable, empathetic, patient and eager to positively contribute. Preference given to international nurses and PSWs.

We are looking for a mature, responsible female to help my mother around the house and to help care for my father. My mother was full-time care giver for my father but she recently has had a major operation and needs time to recuperate. My father can be independent with certain tasks but has some daily care needs such as bathing, getting dressed, meals prepared. He also lives with a catheter bag. He experienced an accident in 2016 and had a brain injury as a result. We would be looking for approximately 8 hours to start with possibly more time needed. Assist him with his bathing, prepare his breakfast, lunch, and dinner, not only do we require someone to help him with his hygiene, which takes pride in, but he will require lotion on his sensitive legs and arms, and someone to make sure he takes his medication's to monitor his health

I am seeking a full-time, live-out nanny to help care for my 1.5 year old baby starting weekends (to get used to the work) and then full time after 1-2 months (Monday to Saturday 8 AM to 6 PM). As well as providing care for my child, this role will include providing companionship to our mother who has dementia. The working schedule is weekends and then Monday through Saturday 8 AM to 6 PM. The weekly hours will come in at approximately 40-50 hours. Since this is a live-out role, having a driver's license is a requirement. We are looking for someone to live in and assist with our 87 year old parents who both use walkers. Although father is very independent, he is full of arthritis and suffers with the pain of it. Mother is also a walker user and requires a bit more assistance with dressing etc. she is a 4th time breast cancer survivor…fighting the disease for over 30 years! Both parents are very sharp with incredible memories.

Preference will be given to those experienced in dementia care. The role involves less than 20 hours weekly, spread across weekdays and weekends at varying times of the day. Tasks include range of motion exercises, managing dementia symptoms, maintaining physical well-being, housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, meal planning, cooking, errands and accompanying my parents to appointments.
