Seeking a Live-In Caregiver / PSW in Richmond Hill, Ontario (Bayview and 16th Avenue) for my mother who is petite 74 years old and recently diagnosed with ALS. She is in early stages and her mobility is moderate and starting to slowly decline. She can walk with a walker but needs support to ensure she doesn’t fall. Room & Board provided. You will have your own bedroom, private washroom and kitchen area dedicated for you. All meals provided. Main responsibilities: - Light housekeeping after my mother only - Assisting with cooking and meal preparation for my mother - Showering and dressing support in the mornings - General personal care needs - Ensuring medications are taken care of and compliance to occupational therapist suggestions -Assistance with taking her to the washroom - Assistance with placing the BiPAP breathing mask whenever she needs it. Seeking Monday-Saturday support with a monthly salary of $3200 / month.
