Timely Healthcare Services Inc. is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-Out Caregiver who is ready to provide high quality in-home health care services. The ideal candidate should be capable of performing both full-time or part-time duties adhering to the schedule, that spans across every day of the week, involving days, evenings, and nights. The responsibilities of the appointed caregiver will be wide-ranging, covering various facets of home health aid. These will include, but are not limited to, providing assistance with ambulation, bathing, dressing, toileting, executing range of motion exercises for physical well-being, undertaking housekeeping duties such as laundry, grocery shopping, meal planning and preparation, dish washing and cleaning the bathroom. In addition to these, you'll be tasked with ensuring companionship through planning visits, outings and trips to visit neighbours, friends and family. In the health care spectrum, you will be asked to provide specialized care for patients facing Alzheimer's or dementia, those requiring palliative or Parkinson care, and clients who require assistive lifts and transfers. It is essential to have the necessary skills or willingness to work with or have experience working with Dialysis, Pneumonia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Dementia, Stroke, Hospice, Diabetes, Incontinence (diapers), Osteoporosis, Visual Impairment, Paralysis, Amputee, Arthritis, Hearing Impairment, Hepatitis, Brain Tumor, Ventilator Dependent, and bedridden patients. To successfully discharge these duties, a valid driver's license is mandatory. Since this position also requires the use of one's car, having reliable transportation is another prerequisite for this post. A commitment of between 40 to 50 hours a week can be expected from the successful candidate.
