We are looking for part-time elderly care/nanny services for our mother, Nancy (age 80). Nancy currently lives at home with us (single mother, 2 teenage boys), and we need helpers to do weekly activities with her (museum visits, errands, shopping, nature walks, coffees, visiting friends), and to provide companionship for her while at home. At this point her dementia is mild, and she has full mobility of herself. As that progresses, so will our need for more care and assistance. We are hoping to find one of two care providers to help in case of any illnesses or need to miss days etc. and also be able to have someone available when we need care outside of regular hours. I (Beth, her daughter) is self-employed and sometimes works evenings and weekends. I need flexibility and availability for different times - say, in the evenings or even on occasion overnights if we need to go away. We are a loving family and are looking to build a lasting relationship with our care providers so that they feel at home and part of our extended family. We have 2 very friendly cats, and one small friendly dog.
