Looking for a friendly and competent support person with experience working with the elderly for cooking and food prep, light cleaning, laundry, ironing, computer use and helping out around the house. My parents are 92 years old and my father has mobility challenges and mild dementia. My mother is fiercely independent and accustomed to being able to manage at the rate of a 70-year-old. They would benefit from having someone around to assist with basic chores. We are looking for someone for 2 afternoons a week for 4 hours each visit for now so that they can stay in their home and maintain a level of independence.
