We're looking for a compassionate and patient person for my 88-year-old mother-in-law who is in the early stages of dementia in Oakville. The role involves providing companionship, playing games, going for walks, care, and daily task management. The person will work from 9 am to 4 pm, Tuesday to Friday. Duties include personal grooming, daily walks around the neighborhood, attend doctor's appointments, meal planning and preparation, and keeping home clean. Comfort around pets is required. Housekeeping duties are also part of the role. Experience with dementia care is preferred. The selected candidate can start from May 22, 2025, for a part-time commitment of 30 hours + . if we like you we can increase the hours. We prefer someone older and mature(40+). who is willing to prepare meals for the family as well and enjoys cooking and also has their own car to take my mother in law to her doctor appts and to the mall to walk during cold winter days.
