Greetings, I am seeking a committed and compassionate caregiver for an adult man living with cerebral palsy. This role offers a challenging yet fulfilling opportunity to make a real difference in the quality of life of an individual who deeply appreciates your expertise and care. This full-time role is live-out, although an occasional need for overnight stay may arise depending on circumstances. It is set to commence at the end of February and run until the end of April. Work will be required across all days of the week, including weekends, with agreed upon hours within the range of 20 to 30 hours per week. The position is based in my home and would involve supporting a range of tasks that include helping with mobility using a Hoyer lift, assisting with bathing, toileting, and other personal care duties. You will also be required to carry out range of motion exercises, light housekeeping, bathroom cleaning, meal planning and preparation, attending to pet care, as well as escorting to appointments as and when needed. Ideally, you will have proven experience in caregiving, particularly for individuals with cerebral palsy. You should be capable of providing physical assistance with patience, compassion, and a strong commitment to maintaining the dignity and comfort of the individual you are caring for. Familiarity with a Hoyer lift and range of motion exercises would be beneficial. While a driver's license is not a requirement, it certainly would be an added advantage. The individual you will be caring for values your service and cherishes the sense of independence and comfort your assistance provides. This role, therefore, offers more than just a job – it is about making a significant and transformative difference in someone's life. If you have the desired experience and are committed to providing exceptional care, I encourage you to apply. Please send your resume and any other relevant experience for my review and consideration. Looking forward to hearing from potential candidates.

My father is a pleasant 93 year old man who lives in my home. He has vascular dementia which causes him to have some confusion particularly in the evenings (sun downing) and when he wakes at night. He requires company, supervision at meals (to monitor his insulin injections and pills), assistance/prompting to dress and bathe and being put back to bed (alarm system allows for this portion to be on call/as necessary). In our house there are two cats, and two working adults. Please message me to discuss further details.

My name is Romy. I live in Mill Bay and my mom lives in Victoria in Glenwarren Lodge. It is difficult for me to visit my mom regularly. My aunt (my mom's sister) visits my mom frequently, however, she is getting older too. I am wanting someone to engage my mom in outings a couple of times per week for coffee or walking to look at flowers/trees. I may need some help with care for my mom's foot. She has planters fasciitis right now. My mom has dementia and so wont remember you. She loves to go for coffee and generally likes getting out of the long term care facility. She wears hearing aids and also is supposed to wear glasses - although usually she doesn't unless someone else remembers. It would be great to have someone else help me out with care for my mom. Thank you kindly for taking a look at this posting. Lets talk about what you think might help too. Cheers, Romy
