Seeking compassionate person to assist in caring and spending time with my 82 year old Dad with the ability to adapt to his person needs. This position will give my Mom some free time and relief from some of the daily care giver activities such as: some assistance in dressing, ensuring that he's been fed, occasionally cooking a meal. Most meals will be precooked or only required to be heated up. Ensuring that he's taken his medication which are all in pill form and taken in the morning and before bed. Potentially, driving to medical appointments on a rare occasion. Mainly, spending time, listening to stories, planning small social outings, going to lunch, going for walks, providing some emotional support. We are looking for a caregiver with some of hands-on experience, who is a good person and has a genuine passion for helping others. A reliable and empathetic caregiver.
