I'm currently in search of a dedicated and compassionate caregiver who can provide in-home aid for my 70-year-old mother. This role demands daily personal care, meal planning and preparation, light housework, and friendly companionship for her. This full-time or part-time position requires live-in service and is hence perfect for those seeking a homely environment and are comfortable living with an elderly person. The caregiver's duties will comprise of bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance, conducting range of motion exercise, running errands, assistance with walking and vacuuming, hand washing dishes, and escorting to appointments. Specific care in relation to Parkinson's and responsibilities such as transfers and lifts are also part of the job. My dear mother has visual and hearing impairments, and has also suffered a hip fracture, so it would be beneficial if the caregiver has experience working with patients facing these health issues. Although a driver's license is not mandatory for the candidate to possess, a family car will be provided for exclusive use to run necessary errands and transporting my mother to and from her appointments. The caregiver will be required during the morning, middle of the day, evening and night of all days from Monday to Sunday, with weekly working hours ranging from 20 to 30.
