Looking for a caring caregiver with experience looking after seniors with dementia to provide weekend respite on Saturdays and/or Sundays for my 83-year-old mother. My mother is a sweet, caring person with memory issues and I would like to find someone who can care for her during weekends. She is still able to feed and dress herself, but is unsteady on her feet. Your duties would involve companionship, providing conversation, and preparing lunch and the occasional dinner during the week. My mother has a mini-schnauzer, so you must be comfortable with dogs and be willing to take the dog out for walks. Salary is negotiable. Location is central Nanaimo, BC
