she will need 24 hour per day supervision, by a roster of carers working 12 hour shifts. the primary need will be her safety especially at night. she will be in a hospital bed to make it easier for her to be helped out of bed to go to washroom, and for her to be safe at night.I expect that there will be some help provided by home care, and the private care will be to supplement that. I am hoping that with home support and care that she can be made mobile again, and physio will be coming in to aid with this.She will be on a restricted pureed diet, and help with its preparation will be welcome.I will be in the home ongoing, but will not be doing the active care and feeding that I have been doing in hospital.I will be available for any help needed by the carer, and will spend time with my wife when time permits.THe date of discharge has not yet been discussed by the hospital staff.
