For this role, the ideal candidate is someone who can either live-in or live-out and be available on a full-time or part-time basis. The work schedule is quite flexible with working hours anticipated to be between 20 - 30 hours per week. Shifts will be divided across the entire week. On Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday, the requirement will be for morning and night shifts. On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday the need will be for night and morning shifts. Saturday will have both morning and night shifts as well. Given the nature of the role, the main job responsibilities will revolve around ensuring the comfort, health, and well-being of the individual under your care. This would entail housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, and meal planning/preparation. Additionally, you may be required to run errands, hand wash dishes, and escort the individual to appointments. Assisting with personal care tasks like bed baths, toileting, and range of motion exercises will also be part of your daily responsibilities. There is no requirement for a driver's license as the use of an automobile is not applicable in fulfilling this role's duties. I am seeking a caring and reliable individual to aid my mom during the evenings. This senior care role primarily involves assisting her with late-night necessities such as trips to the bathroom, medication administration, repositioning, and attending to any small needs she might have throughout the night. While she often sleeps soundly through most of the night, we require someone who can provide the necessary care and attention whenever she needs it. The chosen individual will have the option of sleeping in a provided chair, couch or cot, based on preference. The preferred start date for this position is immediate. A schedule of evening hours from Monday to Sunday is required, estimating between 30 - 40 hours a week. This is a live-out, part-time position. Your responsibilities would include - but not be limited to - aiding with walking, Parkinson's care, patient positioning, toileting assistance, and grooming/dressing assistance. We prefer an individual either willing to work with or who has prior experience dealing with Parkinson's disease patients. Please be advised that a driver's license is not required for this role and the use of an automobile is not applicable. Preparing meals and assisting with some mobility within the apartment for husband and wife both in their 90's. Kind wonderful couple who each have some health issues but do not require specific medical care at this time. The family needs someone there to give them respite and assure that the couple are cared for in regards to meals and in case of a fall or any other health issue arises. They reside in a new, clean, spacious high-rise 2 bedroom apartment.

My father (70yrs) is having knee surgery and could use help for a few weeks until he is back to his regular self. He is worried he will not be able to manage. Daily support such as bring food, guide him on how to deal with the knee. At least 1 time per day (morning), although possibly 2 visits per day, for a few weeks.

This would include a broad range of responsibilities such as bathing assistance, facilitating range of motion exercises, housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming and dish washing. Besides, there would be potential grocery shopping and errands and potentially planning visits, outings, and trips to visit neighbors, friends and family members. You may also need to accompany them to appointments at times. It's essential that you are reliable and able to work from Monday to Sunday, mainly during the day and in the evening, amounting to approximately 40 hours per week. While a driver's license isn't required (though ideal), a willingness to work with or have experience with Dementia and Diabetes is essential. Candidates with previous senior care or health care roles would be highly desirable, although training will be provided to ensure you understand the particular needs of this couple. The post is full-time and does not require living in (at the moment) or use of an automobile (though preferable). We seek someone who is dedicated, resilient, and adaptable, able to provide the necessary and flexible support based on their needs. The preferred start date is ASAP.. However, we are ready to negotiate for the candidate fitting well with the couple and showing a solid understanding of their needs and routine.
