I am looking for a special, caring, fun loving caregiver to look after my 84 year old mother with dementia Friday thru Sunday and to help with housekeeping and preparing meals. My mother lives at home with us. Both my husband and I work full time. I work from home, five days a week, running a massage therapy business. My mother is able bodied but requires help dressing, with the toilet and showering in the morning. She is still able to walk slowly. She loves taking the dog for walks around the block. She is happy and pleasant all the time. She likes going on short errands and then having naps. I need someone to make sure she eats properly and is a good companion throughout the day. She really appreciates someone with a good sense of humour and a fun-loving attitude. She usually goes to bed around 7 - 8:00pm and wakes up around 7:30 - 8:00am . Our dog is also very friendly and loves people. We may also need you to sometimes do some grocery shopping, light housekeeping, prepare meals, and just keep my mom company and keep her happy. We have a caregiver Monday thru Friday during the day while we go to work but would appreciate someone on the weekends so that my husband and I can randomly go out if we wish. Our 28 year old daughter also lives at home at the moment but will be moving out shortly. Since you will be living with us, there will be times when we are home and not going anywhere, so you may use that time to visit friends and family if need be.
