I'm looking for female sitter who speaks Cantonese and English speaking to assist a 95-year-old woman who will be transferring to Mon Sheong in Markham for a short-term stay. She had a stroke and was recovering well, but then she fell at the rehab hospital and lost her confidence to be alone. She will be transferring there on Sept 1 and is nervous about being alone and has requested a sitter to assist her in walking, and range of motion exercises as well as eating. if you have a smart phone that has google translate into simplified Chinese - that will work! (i have used it in the hospital with the medical staff) She is looking for someone 7 days a week for 2 weeks from 11:00 am to 7 pm in a nursing home. Note: She is hard of hearing and refuses to wear a hearing aid and must be coaxed to do her range off motion exercises. This is a temporary position at the retirement home, but could potentially lead to a more permanent position when she moves home. Must be fully covid vaccinated please
