I am in need of a compassionate, trustworthy and reliable person who can help with various housekeeping tasks along with some caregiving duties for a family member living with dementia. The position entails serving part-time, working less than 8 hours per week. This can be a Live-out position as the driving license is not a requirement and using our family automobile will not be necessary. Your main responsibilities would include both general and detailed housekeeping tasks such as doing laundry, meal planning and preparation, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, tidying/organizing home and washing dishes by hand. Understanding the special needs and challenges associated with dementia is crucial, as this job also involves assisting and caring for a loved one who has this condition. The commencement of work is preferably by 06.12.2024, but we have some flexibility in this regard. Ideally, you should possess prior experience in both housekeeping and caregiving, showcasing your ability to maintain a clean, organized environment while also displaying a high degree of empathy and understanding towards those in your care.
