Additional responsibilities would also include changing the bed sheets weekly and aiding in carrying the laundry upstairs and downstairs. While they handle their own folding and my grandfather even enjoys cooking, your presence could be helpful and reassuring for their safety while they handle these tasks. The position is titled "Part-time companion for my Lovely grandparents". Filipino/Tagalog speaking is preferred. The placement would entail working part-time for about 20 to 30 hours a week. Working days would be from Monday to Friday, during the morning hours and extending into midday on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Primary responsibilities would include Meal Planning/Preparation, Escort to Appointments, Bathing Assistance, Plan Visits, Outings, & Trips to Visit Neighbours, Friends, Family, Dressing Grooming assistance, Housekeeping, Laundry, Errands. We are ideally looking for individuals who are comfortable or experienced in dealing with arthritis and hearing impairment. A driver's license is a requirement for this position as the family would provide a car for use on the job to assist in their outings and appointments.
