I am a 53 year old man recovering from Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS), a rare disorder where the body's immune system damages the peripheral nerves causing paralysis. I require ankle foot orthotics/walker for walking and have limited use of my hands at this point in my recovery. I will require assistance early morning getting out of bed, showering, getting dressed, and other ADL duties. I also will need help with daily meal preparation for breakfast and lunch and assistance with my exercise program. Light cleaning and laundry as well. I live in Enfield, approximately 15 minutes from Halifax airport.
