Located in downtown Hamilton, I am a 26-year-old male quadriplegic seeking assistance with my daily routines. The ideal candidate will have a PSW certificate and the ability to effectively communicate, read, and write in English. The work schedule required would be Every Other Saturday e v e n i n g from 4 pm to midnight, and Every Sunday nite from 4pm to 12 midnight, this being a consistent requirement every week. The primary duties will include assisting with a Hoyer lift, companionship, providing bathing and dressing assistance, conducting range of motion exercises, undertaking laundry tasks, assisting in meal preparation and feeding, hand-washing dishes, aiding with lifts and transfers, supporting patient positioning activities, and offering care for a catheter/colostomy. Must be able to reposition patient (Approx 160lbs.) The PSW I seek should have experience or the willingness to work with mobility challenges, including paralysis and issues related to incontinence and quad/paraplegic care.
