I am in need of a reliable, compassionate, and hardworking care provider for an independent senior lady who resides peacefully in her own home. The position, which is expected to commence as early as June 1, 2026, involves giving full-time, personalized care to the lady, ensuring she lives comfortably while maintaining her dignity and satisfaction. The suitable candidate needs to integrate smoothly into our home environment, providing stability and warmth. The successful candidate's daily activities will include a myriad of responsibilities. These consist of assisting with dressing and grooming, executing housekeeping duties such as vacuuming and bathroom cleanup, performing laundry tasks, planning and preparing meals, and running errands. There's a pet in the house, so light pet care chores will also be part of the role. Notably, a significant portion of your responsibility will involve providing care specifically tailored to Alzheimer/Dementia patients, given the lady's condition. As such, prior experience with Dementia care is critical and will prove pivotal in your role. The work schedule for this role includes mornings and mid-day shifts from Monday to Friday. Overall, the position entails working for approximately 30 - 40 hours weekly. Although a driver's license is required, this is a live-out position allowing a healthy balance between your work and personal life. For transportation, you would be required to use your own vehicle. This not only grants you more independence but it is also integral for meeting the lady's transportation needs such as escorting her to appointments and planning visits, outings, and trips to see friends, family, and neighbors.
