Caregiver in Victoria - Kind and responsible caregiver
I am looking for a kind and responsible caregiver for my 73 year old mother. She lives at home in beautiful james bay and I love her very much. We can start with twice a week, on any of the days listed, 1 or 2 hours per shift to start.(depending on how you work) Afternoons or late afternoons . But if it goes well, more is possible. Light housework, some meal prep,, checking in on her a few times per shift when she's unwell and in bed. bringing her tea; would be most of it. Helping her with forms, paper work, getting odd jobs done, phone calls, and occasionally going out to do errands for her may be needed once and a while. If you like gardens and gardening... bonus because that is her favorite thing to do when she can. But not necessary for you to do. She is a warm, intelligent, generous person. And very hard of hearing. so you'd need to be prepared to use writing and your phone to communicate at times. This is about a caring presence. So I'm looking for someone where your heart is there. Where It's not just a job. And respectful wages will be offered in return. Nk95 Masks would be a requirement as she is immune compromised.I'd need to know your practice if you feel like youre getting sick. Your help is needed. I hope we find you! I'd like to talk on the phone to see if there's a good fit. I can give you more details then. References would be great.
