Location: Touchmark Community, Edmonton, AB (Private Home) Position Type: Permanent, Part-Time Relief Shifts: Weekday Mornings: 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM Weekday Evenings: 3:30 PM – 8:30 PM Weekends: 12-hour shifts on Saturday and/or Sunday About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and energetic Relief Personal Support Companion to assist a disabled adult woman living independently in a private residence within the Touchmark Community. This role offers flexible, part-time hours to provide relief coverage for regular caregivers and is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful connections and bringing positivity to someone’s day. Responsibilities Include: Assisting with morning and evening routines (personal care, meal preparation, administering medication and vitamins) Providing companionship and emotional support Planning and accompanying on outings, including swimming and recreational activities Maintaining a clean and safe home environment Communicating effectively with the care team and family Ideal Candidate: Organized, dependable, and proactive Warm, friendly, and engaging personality Comfortable supporting physical assistance as needed Enjoys outdoor activities, social outings, and swimming Previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities Valid driver’s license and CPR/First Aid certification preferred Benefits: Meaningful, one-on-one caregiving in a calm, respectful environment Flexibility with shifts and scheduling Supportive and appreciative family team
