Looking for long-term commitment from a female caregiver to provide in-home care for my mother who has some cognitive decline due to early-stage dementia, affecting her speech. She needs companionship, help with bathing, dressing/pull-ups. She's still mobile, but with some impairment. Needs someone to prepare/serve meals. She speaks and understands English, but preference is for speaking Romanian.

I am an older, disabled individual in need of assistance with my care plan. The role requires duties related to meal planning and preparation, bathing assistance, lifts and transfers, bed baths, dressing/grooming assistance, and toileting assistance. This is a part-time position with less than 20 hours per week. The preferred work schedule is Saturdays and Sundays, during the morning, midday, and night. The position starts from the 6th of January, 2024. Despite the nature of my health and mobility needs, you are not required to have a driver's license. Furthermore, there is no need for automobile use for any aspect of the job role. You can either live-in or live-out, but my preference is for you to live out as part of the role. This role does not require the incumbent to stay overnight. It's crucial to understand the level of dedication and patience required for this kind of role. I will require babysitting for 2 days a week on days I work from home from 8am until 2pm. I work from home every other day so one week Monday Wednesday Friday and the next week Tuesday Wednesday. The days alternate. There is a possibility to extend the days depending on my son's adjustment. While I work from home I will need an extra hand and eye to change him, feed him breakfast and lunch, take him outside, play / engagement, tidying up the kitchen and putting him to nap. Once he is put down for his nap I will not require care anymore. He is very loving and happy boy! I just need that extra set of hands and eyes while I work from home.
