We are seeking someone with a minimum of 2 years of experience in caregiving or a related field. While having a valid driver's license is seen as a plus, it is not entirely necessary. The role involves daily tasks that include bathing and grooming assistance. Light housekeeping and laundry duties will also need to be fulfilled as part of your responsibilities. It is crucial for our family member to stay active within the house to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, regularly assisting with indoor activities such as chair exercises, walking throughout the house with a walker, and engaging in repetitive movement exercises is highly encouraged. Our family member is particularly fond of doing puzzles, watching television, and discussing current events or news. It would be beneficial if you engage in and enjoy these activities too. The location of the caregiving role is in Delta, within a cozy single-family home. You will have your own bedroom and will also be provided access to the kitchen for the preparation of meals. One key duty will be the daily preparation of Hello Fresh meals. This requires good cooking skills and the ability to follow provided recipes closely. The caregiving role will be focused on a 91-year-old senior female, who is loved and actively supported by her family. We are looking for a compassionate individual who will become a cherished addition to her day-to-day life.
