I am currently seeking an empathetic and experienced Personal Support Worker for a full-time, temporary project. The role entails two separate shifts of 12 hours each - one for the day and another during the night. The work schedule would consist of either morning or night shifts from Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities Provide daily personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, mobility support). Oversee and coordinate routines with other caregivers to ensure consistency and quality of care. Monitor health symptoms, medications, nutrition, hydration, and general wellness. Assist with range-of-motion exercises and positioning; perform safe transfers and lifts as needed. Prepare and serve nutritious meals; assist with feeding when required. Maintain cleanliness in the patient’s immediate environment (bathroom, bedroom, and care equipment). Record observations and communicate promptly with physicians, nurses, and the palliative care team. Accompany the patient to medical appointments when necessary.
