Are you energetic and creative with ideas for activities and outings? Do you have demonstrated experience working with people with memory issues? Do you speak fluent English? We are looking for a companion for a female client in her mid-60s who is still very active and has a diverse business background. The candidate must be fluent in English and have basic computer and smartphone skills, specifically familiarity with Microsoft Word and Outlook. You must also have proven experience working with people with memory loss disease. Although we are seeking someone to work approximately 5 hours per day, twice per week, applicants must be flexible to respond to schedule changes. We also require that the candidate be willing to travel with the client and her husband and must possess a valid Canadian passport. Applicants must have a reliable vehicle which will be used to transport the client, be comfortable driving in all road conditions that Calgary experiences, and will need to provide a Driver's Abstract. Candidates must be willing to provide a Police Information Check.
