Companion & PSW Love Care Keepers Homecare Services is looking for caring and compassionate COMPANION and PSW's to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Love Care Keepers Homecare Services provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their lovely home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. Duties include, but are not limited to: Companionship and conversation Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation Medication and appointment reminders Assistance with grooming and bathing Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues Alzheimer's Care No previous experience necessary for companions – skills training provided by Love Care Keepers Homecare Services Requirements to be a companion: *Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect *Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner *Complete a criminal background check, a vulnerable sector check, 3 professional and personal references *Possess a valid driver's license is essential. Driver's abstract is required. *Possess a vehicle with valid auto insurance is essential. Requirements to be a PSW: All requirements for Companion position Plus: PSW Certificate First Aid/CPR Up to date negative TB test and Covid19 vaccination cert. Both positions will require a Vulnerable Sector Screening from you local police station upon hiring.
