We are seeking a team of individuals, compassionate, attentive and patient FEMALE caregivers, who can care for our senior mother with quality care and kindness. She has Alzheimer's Dementia, and Arthritis and knee surgery in the past. As well Mom has a hearing impairment, therefore familiarity working with these conditions will be highly advantageous. The ideal candidate should be someone who not only speaks English fluently but also exudes a calming demeanor. While the focus of your responsibilities will lie in ambulation support, bathing assistance, grooming and dressing help, and toileting support, we believe firmly in holistic care. As such, your role will also extend to other areas such as meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, occasionally grocery shopping, light bathroom cleaning, transfers from bed to wheelchair, wheelchair to sofa, transfers to the toilet and hand washing dishes. This position is for a period of eight (8) to twelve (12) weeks and the possibility of intermittent scheduling to provide respite for family caregivers The caregivers will be required to work full-time from Monday to Sunday. The schedule runs as follows: Day: 8am - 4pm Evening: 4pm - midnight Night midnight - 8am This position requires a live-out arrangement. Hence, a driver's license is necessary owing to the need for you to commute daily. However, there won't be a need for your own automobile for any job-related tasks.
