Currently seeking assistance, care, and companionship for my father who is in his late 70s. As a cherished member of our family, my father is a 78-year-old gentleman who has recently begun needing additional assistance with his day-to-day activities. Up until now, he's been able to largely manage on his own, but the time has come for us to search for some extra help to ensure he can continue to comfortably and safely go about his daily routine. We're looking for someone reliable and kind, with elevated levels of patience and understanding; someone who possesses an inherent compassion and respect for the elderly. This individual would provide essential support in areas where my father is now less capable, while also offering the invaluable gift of companionship. We are hoping to attract someone who is capable of providing assistance with daily chores, managing medication, prepararing meals, and potentially running errands. However, more than these practical aspects, we are searching for a companion for my father; someone who can spend quality time with him, engage in hobbies, and encourage social interaction. We understand that the process will take time to find the right fit for both my father's needs and ours as a family. Every step taken in this process is with my father's well-being and comfort in mind. We look forward to finding a wonderful individual who can bring joy and comfort to my father's everyday life.

I am looking for support in our home as well as some errands and outings with my 18 year old son. My son is nonverbal and uses an augmentative communication device for basic communication. He is considered to be on the sever end of the autism spectrum. He is a wonderful kid who loves to swim, hot tub, have baths, walk, play games, play Wii, got for car rides and have little adventures. He does have some behaviours. He can be a bit messy and eats differently than others in the family so some cleaning and light cooking would be required.

I am seeking a qualified and compassionate individual to take over the role of elder care for my loved one. The ideal candidate should be able to administer medication, including giving injections, and possess a clear understanding of caring for individuals with health conditions such as Diabetes and Stroke. This is a part-time role, where the required work schedule involves evenings from Monday to Sunday. Your assistance with walking during these times is of utmost importance. The average working hours per week will be 7 hours a week. (1 hour a week). A key requirement for this position is the ability to use your own car, as mobility plays a crucial part in the responsibilities. Therefore, possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory in consideration for this role. The caregiver may choose to live in or live out based on their personal preference, keeping in mind that our priority is to offer our elderly family member the best care possible. Retirement Home in Kitchener 6am-2pm- PSW x 2 Waterloo (2 weeks) Retirement Home – 1 Day and 1 Evening PCA – ensure they know they are coming to RH Long Term Care – 3 Day and 3 Evening PSWS – ensure they know they are coming to LTC These facilities do have covid positive patients, all PPE is provided for the staff.

My parents live in a condo at Water Park Place in Waterloo. My dad is 93 and is on a walker with limited mobility. He’s independent and can take care of his personal needs except food preparation. My mom is 83 and suffered a stroke a year ago. She is on a walker with limited mobility on her right side. She is unable to cook, shower or dress herself. We need in home care for her, house cleaning, laundry and meal preparation. Looking for 3-4 hours over dinner time. There are 4 children who all live in Toronto.
