I am seeking an experienced individual who possesses skills in caregiving and personal support work for a senior in my home. The ideal candidate for this Caregiver & Personal Care position will have extensive experience with mobility support, including safe transfers and assisting patients with movements. The person in this role will need to be compassionate, patient, trustworthy and possess excellent communication skills. These attributes are essential as you will constantly be making decisions about the care you provide while also handling personal boundaries and maintaining utmost respect for privacy and confidentiality. Duties and responsibilities for this position will include assistance with personal care tasks such as transfers, bathing, dressing, and grooming. If necessary, the caregiver will provide mobility support such as wheelchair assistance, positioning, light exercises and stretching. Additionally, the individual will be required to help with meal preparation and feeding when required. The role also involves light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and organizing. Providing companionship, assisting with medication, and ensuring a safe, respectful, and supportive environment at all times are also integral to this position. The work schedule will require availability during morning, midday, evening, and night hours on all seven days of the week. Please note that a driver's license is not a requirement for this position, and automobile use is not applicable. Both live-in and live-out arrangements will be considered, and the position can be either full time or part time. Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, meal planning and preparation, running errands, bathroom cleaning, assisting with walking, vacuuming, washing dishes by hand, escorting to appointments, bathing assistance, completing lifts and transfers, patient positioning, catheter or colostomy care, and range of motion exercises. Experience with or willingness to work with individuals suffering from osteoporosis, paralysis and quad/paraplegic care is an added advantage. We are looking at a work commitment of 30 to 40 hours per week, with the preferred start date being immediate. This is a highly demanding but rewarding role for someone fulfilled by providing one-on-one personal support. I’m looking for a live-in caregiver who speaks Italian to care for an elderly woman from August 20 to October 5, 2026. I’m looking for a responsible, attentive, and experienced person for a full-time live-in position. The responsibilities include daily care for the client, assistance with personal hygiene, bathing, using the toilet and bedpan, mobility support, as well as care for someone with dementia and palliative care needs. Household duties will also be required, including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and meal planning, and cleaning the bathroom. Seeking a live-in weekday caretaker (PSW) for my Jamaican mother-in-law. Shift begins Sunday evening and ends Friday Evening. Mom's independent spirit limits the amount of tasks she would need you to perform, but she does need assistance with transfers, showers and toileting, and someone to keep the house clean and fix her meals. Most of the time, its companionship that she really requires, and someone to help with the small things a disabled person with poor eyesight requires, like picking up a dropped remote control, or helping her find something.
