We are looking for a personal support worker for a male (63) with ALS in an English speaking household in Beaconsfield. Due to ALS he is unable to walk or use his arms; he is cognitively aware and able to have conversation. Daily tasks include: Assist with all aspects of personal hygiene such as bathing, mouth care, skin care etc. Light meal preparation (breakfast and lunch) & feeding Assist with transfers repositioning from bed to wheelchair to chairs. Assist with toileting Light housekeeping Companion services when needed Participate in maintaining the overall well being and ensure safety. Position details 16 hours a week, with a chance of increased hours. Wednesdays 9:30- 5:30 Saturday & Sunday 9:30-1:30.
