Hello! I am a 29 year old stay at home mom. I have a 4.5 year old daughter named Ella. I am pregnant with my second child who will be born in January. I plan to open my schedule up for nannying around April when he is atleast 9 weeks old! I have a fiance named Jeremy, he owns a landscape company and is home in the evenings & some weekends. We have an amazing dog Opie as well, he is a 6 years old boxer. I’ve never seen a dog as gentle and good with kids as him. He just minds his own buisness laying on the couch, looking out the window all day, he goes to doggy daycare a few times a week as well! I am looking to care for a child throughout the week not only for work, but for a friend for my daughter as well :) we live in the safe neighborhood of crestview in Winnipeg! Parks around every corner, walking paths, little restaurants etc. I love to fill our days going to Assiniboine park, sturgeon creek, sturgeon paths, the park, wading pool, splash pad, etc. In the winter we love going sledding, playing outside, going to play groups, library time at Westwood library and museums! Currently I have my own SUV, which can comfortably fit 2 car seats (unsure about a 3rd, but there are 3 sets of anchor hooks so I’m sure it would work!) Either way, I love to plan activities around the house such as crafts and sensory bins, singing, dress up, blocks, lego, baking, etc. If you’re looking for more of a home/family/ calm environment for your child, please reach out to me! I have been babysitting since I was 14. The youngest I have babysat is 1 month old. This ranges from family friends children, jobs around the neighborhood, my own siblings, friends kids, to working in a daycare & taking the ECE course at red river college. My roles as a caregiver have included basic needs, playtime, cleaning, even animal care. I am naturally a maternal woman and treat every child the same way I’d want someone to treat my little girl! I love planning activities for the kids to ensure their days include learning through play and exploration. My daughter is 4.5 and I am her primary caregiver, we have been together everyday & (almost) all day since birth!
