I'm Yolanda, a 23-year-old student from the University of Manitoba. I come from a close-knit and supportive extended family. My passion for childcare began at home and was further nurtured during my four years of professional experience working at a daycare, where I cared for children ranging from 9 months to 8 years old. Raised by two loving parents, I am an only child. My experience and love for kids comes from volunteering at daycares and being frequently around my big extended family. I enjoy watching children grow and helping them achieve their milestones. Being a caring nanny not only signed me up for childcare but also light household chores, like cooking and cleaning. I can prepare meals, run errands, tidy up the kitchen, help with the children's laundry, and even assist kids with their homework. In addition, I can organize events as needed and am comfortable with ferrying children as I possess a valid driving license. My priority is to provide your children with a nurturing environment. Whenever I'm on duty, I ensure that your kids receive the same level of care, attention, and affection that they would get from you. Ideally, I prefer a live-out arrangement, but I'm also open to a live-in setup if you're going away and need someone reliable to maintain stability at home. Keeping children safe is my utmost concern, hence, I am trained in CPR and first aid. I'm comfortable with pets as well, given that I have some of my own back at home. In terms of my availability, I am pretty flexible with long hours on both weekdays and weekends if needed. Specific schedules include mornings and afternoons on Tuesdays and Thursdays; mornings, afternoons, evenings, and nights on Saturdays and Sundays; and evenings on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Being adaptable and quick on my feet, I can manage any hectic schedule. My ability to keep a cool head under stress, multitask, and my love for the outdoors make me a well-rounded babysitter, nanny, housekeeper, and tutor. I’m ready and eager to start work immediately. Worked at an early age childhood daycare for 1 year which ended during covid. Volunteered at the same daycare for 3 years while in high school (was there a total of 4 years). Helped feed the children, played with them, cleaned up after them, put them down for naps.

Currently enrolled at the University of Manitoba, have taken CPR training by certificate expired in 2023.
