I'm Laura. I am newly married with a 13 year old bonus daughter. I graduated from U of W four years ago with a Bachelor of Arts with a double minor including developmental studies, and a bachelors degree in Education. I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, board game gathering with friends and family, and staying active through yoga, walks, and being outdoors. While I do not have any biological children of my own, I am a natural "Mother Hen" and establish a nurturing, supportive atmosphere supported by positive reinforcements to help children feel safe and supported. Plus, I can also help tutor and provide an academic boost through engaging activities and learning opportunities as developmentally appropriate.

I am a certified teacher in Manitoba. I have experience educating and caring for children ages 4-13+ and am regularly responsible for 20-25 children at a time as a classroom teacher. I have extensive experience providing educational care for children with ADD, ADHD, global developmental delay, and children on the autism spectrum. I also have experience caring for toddlers as I have provided respite for family and friends.
