My name is Dasha and I am a dedicated and experienced nanny living in Surrey. Over the past 11 years, I have been entrusted with the care of children at all stages of life, from newborn to over 10 years of age. Deeply committed, I am available for work throughout the week, presenting great flexibility in my schedule.
I am originally from Russia, I moved to Canada when I was 5 years old, and grew up in between two countries.
I graduated from Gleneagle Secondary in Coquitlam, and graduated Douglas College for Potential Nursing Applicants (2 year diploma.) I am hoping to continue my studies into RMT work.
I am also currently a professional disk jockey (DJ.) and aspiring producer. I have gone international and have played in Nepal, India, and in Canada - Edmonton, Toronto and all over BC.
I speak 8 languages ; Russian, Ukrainian, English, French, Nepali, Hindi, Mandarin. I am fluent in the first 4.
As an inclusive nanny, I have the capability to provide care for children with disabilities- I have experience working with kids on the Autism spectrum, as well as on physical disabilities., and I am more than willing to adhere to any special dietary requirements. Proficient in tasks such as cooking (line cook experience of 3 years), light housekeeping, running errands and grocery shopping, I ensure a well-organized and clean environment for your family.
Dressing and bathing children, aiding them with their homework, and the overall maintenance of the household are also part of my forte. My love for animals extends to pet care and walks as well. I have worked at Darling Dogs Daycare doggy kennel, as well as dog trained and pet sat for private clients.
When it comes down to credentials, I have obtained First Aid and CPR Training, a High School diploma, an Associates Degree and taken College Child Education courses.

I have been babysitting since I was at least 13 years old. My twin cousins were also born around this time, so I learned to start caring for newborns since a young age.
I also took Child Development class in school, which aided me in learning details of children’s developments through their early years of growth.
I currently have a family that I help out part time and they are my biggest reference. They have a 4 year old and 9 month old whom I have been watching for over half a year now.
I have also worked with boys - ages 6-11. My recent 11 year old I worked with - I also was teaching him DJ lessons and Russian (reference also available with this client.)
At most, I have worked with 3 kids at the same time. One of them was an infant, however they all were young and required attention.
I enjoy partaking in educating kids as well - I speak 8 languages and have a high school and college diploma with subject of excellences in Band (I play saxophone and piano), Keyboarding and French.
