I currently live in Whitby but drive to stay in Kingston Monday through Wednesday. I have a strong background supporting kids through childcare and recreation and I truly love helping children feel confident safe and included. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family and building meaningful connections in my community. Employers often describe me as dependable, approachable and supportive with strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for working with kids.
I am currently finishing my fourth year in the Concurrent Education program at Queen’s University, where I am developing strong skills in child development, learning support, and inclusive practice. Additionally, for the past 3 summers, I have worked a full-time ECE Assistant supporting children from infants to schoolagers in a structured childcare setting. In this role, I supervise daily routines, assist with meals and outdoor play, and help create age-appropriate activities that encourage positive growth and engagement. My experience has strengthened my ability to build safe, supportive environments by using patience, communication, and positive reinforcement to help children feel confident and included.
