I’m Ariana! I am 24 years old and in teachers college to hopefully become a primary teacher! I have been working with young children 5+ years now in a formal setting. In my work with the school board I have been focused on helping with literacy and numeracy through a play based model. I truly believe that having a connection with the kids you work with is so important as you become another trusted figure for the child. Working with children of all different capabilities has taught me to appreciate all children and find the best ways to help them based on their learning style. 2021- Present Worked as a supply teacher tutor in the classroom for the Durham Catholic District School Board. 2023-Present Tutored and occasionally babysat a 10 year old boy. 2016-2018 Babysat a family with 3 young children, ages 3, 8, and 10.
