Georgia T.
I’m Georgia, a 23-year-old university graduate originally from Toronto, currently back home in Westmount after 15 months living in London as an au pair. I hold an Honours BA and I’m starting a graduate program this September, which means I’m fully available and looking for a meaningful summer position with a family I can genuinely connect with. I grew up in a warm, close-knit family and I bring that same energy to the families I work with. I’m the kind of person who remembers the little things — a child’s favourite book, how they like their eggs, what makes them laugh. I care deeply about the kids in my charge and I take that responsibility seriously. Outside of work I’m passionate about art, history, museums, nature, and the outdoors. I love cooking, reading, exploring the city, and finding creative ways to make everyday moments feel special. At camp I channelled that into earth education — getting kids excited about the natural world — and I bring that same sense of wonder and curiosity to everything I do with children. I’m calm under pressure, highly organized, and genuinely fun to be around. I have experience navigating medical needs, managing groups, and adapting to whatever a family requires. I’m looking for a position where I can show up fully, be trusted, and make a real difference in a family’s daily life this summer.
I have over six years of hands-on childcare experience across a range of settings. Most recently I spent 15 months as a live-in au pair in London, managing the full-time care of children in a family home including school runs, meals, activities, and household coordination. Prior to that I worked as a nanny for a year caring for a child with Type 1 diabetes, which required attentiveness, medical awareness, and close communication with parents. My camp background includes serving as Head of Earth Education at Glen Bernard Camp, where I designed and led programming for groups of up to 30 children aged 4-16, as well as working as general counsellor the year prior. I’m experienced with the full range of childhood ages and have a natural ability to connect with kids through creativity, curiosity, and outdoor learning. I’m warm, dependable, and genuinely passionate about working with children. Available in Montreal and Westmount this summer, flexible with schedule.
