I'm Sophie, a 24-year-old graduate student at Concordia University with a passion for speech applied linguistics and language teaching. I've shifted my life from the suburbs of Washington, DC to Montreal for my studies. Over the past five years, I've shared my love for outdoor activities and creativity in arts and crafts in my role as a nanny. I believe both areas are strong outlets for fun as well as learning and expression. As a non-smoker with a driver's license and a strong swimming ability, the safety and well-being of children are always my top-most priorities. I have experience in working with children with disabilities and I am comfortable managing children of all age groups, even newborns. I am searching for both Full-Time and/or Part-Time Nanny, Babysitter, Nanny/Housekeeper or Nanny/Tutor roles within the city. I would prefer a Live-Out arrangement and can start immediately. My availability spans across the whole week - from early mornings to late nights. Weekends are flexible with availability primarily leaning towards mid-day to evenings. My duties can extend beyond child care and include: cooking, light housekeeping, preparing meals for kids, running errands, transporting children, bathing and dressing children, adhering to dietary restrictions, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and providing pet care. Although I don't own a vehicle, I am able to travel and navigate the city with ease, ensuring the children in my care always have a day full of fun and adventure. I babysat children of various ages, ranging from enfants to 12 years old all throughout high school. Also, I was a nanny for two 8 year old boys during my first year of university.

I am currently in my last year of university on track to graduate December 2024 with a bachelors degree in linguistics.
