Hello! My name is Jen and I am a 26-year-old registered pediatric nurse from New Zealand with previous au-pairing and nannying experience. I am enthusiastic and passionate about working alongside children and excited at the prospect of doing so in Canada. I have recently relocated to Montreal and have an IEC visa (authorized to work in childcare) valid until July 2024. Currently I am working in a day care centre where I am predominatley with the 18month olds to 3 year old class. For the last three years, I have worked as a pediatric nurse in New Zealand's leading children's hospital where I cared for a range of patients from newborns to adolescents. Prior to commencing my Bachelor of Nursing, I worked as a live-in nanny in the UK for a family with three children aged 4, 7 and 9 and then as an au-pair in Spain for two children of 2 and 5 years of age.
