Growing up I have always been surrounded by little kids, as a part of my culture. However, I soon started to realize that my connection to kids was beyond that, so I started to take care of every child I encountered until. For me, taking care of a child must be a passion, and not a job. I truly enjoy sharing my culture and teaching as much as possible to every child. Furthermore, I love learning new languages and cultures, and I would happily be able to teach it. I enjoy cooking, organizing picnics, taking walks, plays or staying home and watching movies. I moved to Canada since I was studying at UBC. I’m very responsible, fun, and smart. My goal is to create the best childhood memories for each child. Taking care of a children isn't just a job to me; it's my absolute passion. With two years of experience in childcare, I've dedicated myself to meeting every need a child has, whether it's cooking, cleaning, going for walks, playing games, or organizing picnics. In my first year, I nurtured a 2-year-old girl, and in my second year, I found fulfillment in caring for a 6-month-old baby and a 3-year-old child. I firmly believe that being a nanny isn’t just about providing basic care; it's about creating childhood memories. Moreover, I am fluent in three languages - English, Spanish, and Italian - and I am fully committed to imparting each of these languages, just as I've successfully done in the past. My genuine passion for childcare, as well as my language skills and experience, make me the ideal candidate to provide exceptional care and enriching experiences for each children.

Oh, hi, the recording's working, I had to jump through a few loops to get it to work. I am a former nurse, I have done a little bit of information above, but the forums are asking me to describe myself, so I have been a nurse, a critical care nurse and then a community health nurse for about 22 and a half years. I no longer nurse, and I am no longer registered, but I loved my nursing as I went through my field over the two decades that I worked in it, and studied in it. I'm a UBC graduate, and what else can I tell you? I've been a nanny, prepandemic, for about five years for children age newborn to 12 and 12 years and for a few different families at different times, and just really enjoyed that. I'm a parent also of a person in their 20-somethings, so just was heavily involved also with them and really enjoyed being a parent and I've done a little bit of elder care also for my own parents who are now deceased sadly but they lived full and productive lives. I've taken some external studies as well during the pandemic and I'm a swimmer quite consistently, it's my sport, and I love it. I've swam all my life, I'm fairly organized, I drive, I've driven all my life but I sold my car last October 2023. So I'm still carrying my driver's license and I'm happy to drive your family, your children safely. I have an excellent driving record through ICBC. I've had CPR and First Aid, and if you want I can renew them but I would need to do that within employment, just because money is very very tight for me as it is for many people right now. And I've been looking for work for a period of months actually, in this very sluggish economy for employment. But I'm eager to work and willing, and I'm not willing to relocate at this time from Vancouver, because my home is here, but within about 5 or 10km I use transit to get around. Yes, so I just need to be cognizant of commuting times and what makes sense. I read music as well, and I've done a little bit of ESL teaching with the family at one point pre-pandemic, one of the children required quite a bit of help. And then a couple of I wouldn't say young adults but actually a person in their 30s and helped them and set up, how do I say, lesson plans and taught in person as well with these two individuals. So yes, really enjoyed that also. Let me know if you're interested in communicating further for potential employment with your family. Thank you and God bless. Hello, by way of introduction, my name is Anita . I am a former Registered Nurse, a Canadian Citizen growing up and residing in Canada for decades. My education is from UBC ( undergraduate in Nursing). I did practice for 22 years. I have been a parent for twenty years . My kiddo is now in his mid twenties and on their own. I have worked as a nanny for five years with various families prior to the pandemic era. Age groups : new born to twelve years. I read music and have taught English also on a smaller scale. I’m seeking 25-40 hours per week. I hold a BC driver’s license and have driven for many years. I currently do not own a vehicle by choice. I would be delighted to meet and discuss potential employment with you and your family. I have a recent CRC from November 2023 also.

I am currently an elementary school teacher (French immersion) with plenty of experience in childcare of all ages. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Victoria, with a double major in English and French. Throughout my degree, I periodically led day camps for young French Immersion students. After graduating in 2019, I spent the summer in France as an au pair, taking care of young children (1. 5 and 3), and helping them learn English. I then moved to Quebec, where I worked in a high school and two elementary schools as an English Language Monitor, leading activities and games to help the students practice their English. This particular job is what confirmed my passion for teaching and directed me towards becoming an Elementary French teacher. In the years prior to becoming a teacher, I worked as a nanny both full-time and part-time and have continued with occasional babysitting as I work full-time in teaching. I look forward to working as a nanny during the summer break. In my free time, my favourite activities are riding my bicycle, hiking, running, reading, and writing. I am calm and very positive, and I absolutely adore spending time with young children, hearing their thoughts and participating in the activities that bring them joy. I am a great believer in the wonders of storytelling, so I take care to encourage reading, hearing, telling, and creating stories as much as possible. Hello! My name is Laure. I’m originally from France, and I've been living in Vancouver since 2006. I'm also a Canadian citizen. I've always had a wonderful connection with children—they bring me so much joy, and I reciprocate with plenty of love and care. Perhaps my connection with kids comes from having a brother who is 12 years younger than me! I have a deep interest in mental health for adults and children, which has inspired me to study and practice various techniques that have proven valuable not only for me but also for those around me. As part of this journey, I now teach mindfulness to children aged 5 and older as a side business. I love to bake, especially when I can share my creations with friends, and I enjoy arts and crafts. I'm looking for a family with 2 children or 2 families to do a nanny share. I'm"ideally" looking for 3 to 4 days a week, with a minimum of 8 hours a day, but I'm flexible (since I'm also an entrepreneur) as long as I can get the hours and wage that I need to live. So please contact me if you think I might be interested in your needs. Looking forward to getting to know you! Best, Laure I have over 10 years of experience working with children aged 5 months to 12 years, often caring for two children from the same family or from two different families as part of a nanny share. I enjoy taking the children on outings to parks, libraries, community centers, Science World, the Aquarium, and swimming pools—if the conditions are safe. At home, we play, read books, bake, and I love to sing with them! I'm a nurturing and attentive nanny who follows modern parenting approaches to help children build resilience and kindness. When they're with me, children do not watch TV. I run a side business teaching mindfulness to kids aged 5 and up, which means your children will benefit from my expertise in co-regulation, laying the foundation for self-regulation skills. hours with MindfulSchools: Teaching mindfulness to children 5 to 18 years old 2002 - 2005 Bachelor of Arts, Multimedia Creation, Universite de La Rochelle (France) 2000 - 2002 Diploma in Photography, Lycée Auguste Renoir, Paris 2001 Certificate of Competency as a Camp Organizer (B.A.F.A.), specialized in seaside activities
