I am an experienced and dedicated caregiver with a background in Early Childhood Education (ECEA) and extensive experience working with children of various ages, from infants to school-aged kids. With a warm and nurturing approach, I prioritize creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where children can thrive. My background includes working in kindergarten, after-school programs, summer camps, and community centers, where I developed skills in child development, activity planning, behavior management, and conflict resolution. I am also CPR and First Aid certified, ensuring children's safety at all times. I am a patient, responsible, and creative individual who enjoys engaging children in educational play, outdoor activities, arts and crafts, and storytelling. In addition to childcare, I can assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and homework help. Originally from Iran, I now reside in North Vancouver and am legally authorized to work in Canada. Each day I arrive at the children's home to provide dedicated childcare and educational support, beginning with preparing and serving nutritious snacks and meals to ensure they are well-nourished and energized. I assist them with their homework, offering subject-specific tutoring to reinforce their learning and help them develop strong academic skills. To foster creativity and cognitive development, I engage them in various educational and artistic activities, including arts, and crafts, storytelling, and interactive learning games. Additionally, I organize outdoor play and recreational activities to encourage physical movement and a healthy lifestyle. I support their social and emotional development by guiding them through conflict resolution, promoting positive interactions, and reinforcing good behaviour through structured routines and encouragement. As the evening progresses, I help them wind down by assisting with bedtime routines, reading stories, and preparing them for the next day. Throughout my time with them, I maintain clear and regular communication with parents, providing updates on their children’s progress, daily activities, and any concerns to ensure a collaborative approach to their care and overall well-being.
